Privacy Policy

Effective August 10, 2026 · Last updated September 14, 2026 · Version 2026-09-14-v1

Overview

CredCompass Nord provides credit-education and organization tools. This policy explains the information the application collects, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to users.

Information you provide

Account information may include your name, email address, optional phone number, state, goals, and concerns. You may also upload credit-report PDFs, supporting documents, correspondence, and information you enter while reviewing report items.

Credit information and sensitive data

A credit report contains sensitive financial information. By uploading a report and checking the processing-consent box, you consent to our processing of that information for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw consent by deleting the document or your account.

Credit-report PDFs are uploaded to private storage only for user-authorized processing. After successful extraction, CredCompass removes its readable source-file reference and retains masked extracted identifiers; full Social Security numbers are not saved. Failed processing attempts may temporarily retain the private reference so the account owner can retry.

Do not enter passwords, full Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, or complete account numbers into saved notes or letter drafts.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate your account, process documents you request, organize report information, highlight items for your review, provide educational content, provide drafting tools you use yourself, maintain security records, and operate and improve the service.

CredCompass Nord does not use identifiable credit-report content to train its own AI models. Service providers process that content only to provide the features requested by the user, subject to applicable processing agreements.

Automated processing

Document extraction uses automated tools only after the user checks the processing-consent box. The processing provider temporarily receives a time-limited link to the original report. Extracted information can be incomplete or incorrect, and users must review and confirm it before relying on it or creating an action plan.

Sharing and service providers

We use the following categories of service providers to operate the application: hosting and application platform (Base44); payment processing (Stripe) and subscription management (RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play); artificial-intelligence providers that process documents and generate content at your request; and blog hosting and content delivery (Soro). Each receives only the information needed to perform its function.

We also use Google Ads to measure traffic and advertising performance. CredCompass Nord does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Retention and deletion

We retain extracted information for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after you delete it, and security records for 365 days. After a report is successfully processed, the uploaded file is deleted from our storage.

When you delete your account, we delete your documents and extracted information, but retain limited deidentified or hashed operational records that do not identify you or contain report contents for 365 days for security, fraud prevention, and system integrity. Hosting and recovery systems may retain copies for up to 30 days under their own backup schedules.

You can request account and data deletion from Profile & Settings or through the public account-deletion request page.

Security

The application uses authenticated access, owner-based data permissions, temporary private-file access, masked stored identifiers, immutable audit records, and error monitoring designed to avoid report contents. Complete account numbers may be entered only in the browser-memory Print or Copy step; CredCompass does not save or send that temporary value.

Device clipboards and downloaded or printed documents remain under the user's control. No system can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and any required regulator within the time frames required by law.

Your choices

You may review and update profile information, manage documents, request a copy of your information, withdraw optional use, or request account deletion. Some records may be retained where required for security or legal compliance.

We will confirm receipt within 10 days, respond to your request within 45 days, and may extend that period once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary. If extended, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.

Children

CredCompass Nord is not intended for children under 18, and users should not submit information about another person without authorization.

Changes

Material changes will be identified by a new policy version and effective date. When required, users will be asked to acknowledge the updated policy.
